Wiser is a leadership coaching platform driving behavior change at scale – we connect users to world-class coaches and digitize portions of the coaching engagement to make it affordable, scalable, and impactful. Our goal is to deliver leadership coaching to millions of managers across the world.

Wiser launched at the end of 2021, in partnership with Hudson Institute of Coaching, a 35-year old leader in the field of coaching. We are seeing great traction and starting to grow the team, looking for our first SDR.

About the role

We are looking for an independent and highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and help us generate leads while also helping to build the systems and infrastructure to scale the lead generation process. 

You will be the first SDR on the team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will get the independence and responsibility that comes with building new things. We will work with you on setting clear and attainable targets, but then it’s up to you to achieve them without much existing infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO and Account Executives to identify potential clients, reach out to them, and introduce them to the Wiser platform. You will be responsible for researching and qualifying leads, initiating contact, and scheduling appointments. You will also work on building out some of the systems and infrastructure required to create a well-organized and replicable lead generation process.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients and decision-makers in target industries and geographies
  • Qualify leads and initiate contact through email, phone calls, and social media
  • Introduce prospects to the Wiser platform and schedule appointments for account executives
  • Collaborate with the CEO and account executives to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Build out the system and infrastructure required for a scalable sales process
  • Support marketing strategy and execution

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to thrive without existing structure or process
  • Experience using Hubspot or other CRM software
